Some of the programs include: Night of the Titanic, the Stellarium, the Dinosaur Prophecy, Secrets of the Dead Sea, and Force Five! Reserve your space now! Seats and area are limited. Free!
• Friends of the Atlantic Public Library will be having their annual Spring Used Book Sale! Setup will be Apr. 11 & 12. Sale will be Apr. 13 & 14 and tear down will be Apr. 14 & 16. Please wait to drop off your gently used books until Tuesday, April 10.

Did You Know… that you can check out books, magazines (even current ones), books of CDs, music CDs, and Playaways for four weeks? Videos and DVDs are checked out for one week!

Behind My Desk… Well, I was a little concerned about the Dome Theater reservations during the afternoon of April 9. No need. All reservations are full until 4:30 p.m. The open times are: 4:30- 5 p.m.—Earth’s Wild Ride; 5:30-6 p.m.—Dinosaur Prophecy; 6-6:30 p.m.—Force 5 (weather); and 6:30-7 p.m.—Night of the Titanic. Space is limited!

I think it will be a wonderful experience for all ages, so do make reservations with the Downstairs library staff (Julie and Company!). Come, celebrate National Library Week and join the fun!

I want to remind you that the Friends of the Atlantic Public Library will be having their “Gently” Used Book Sale again this April. Setup will be Wednesday and Thursday, April 11 & 12. Members of the Friends group will have first “dibs” at the sale on Friday morning until 12 noon. Then the sale will be open to the general public. Dues are $10 per year to become a member of the Friends of the Atlantic Public Library. On the library website is a tab “About Us”. Click this on and on the left hand column there is a link to “Join Friends of the Atlantic Public Library!” Click on that link. Then click on the “Dues” link and print that page! You will want to get your name on the membership list as soon as possible.

I want to thank Rosanne Bachman for taking the time on Wednesday evening to come talk to us about her book Driving to Clarinda. Her last talk in the All Cass Co Reads series for this year will be Saturday May 12 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Griswold Public Library.

The Lewis Public Library, Elliott Public Library and Griswold Public Library are working together on this program. May is National Mental Health Month, so this book fits right in with that theme. If you haven’t had a chance to hear her speak about this important subject, I recommend you make plans to come.
